Welcome to KwikTrike.

Who can ride a motor trike? Just about everyone! That's what's great about trikes: Young or mature, experienced or novice, physically challenged or mobile, trikes are the right fit - and an exhilarating way to explore the open road.

Don't Buy New...convert your Bike to a Trike instead.

KwikTrike is located in Southern California and is a preferred dealer for Mystery Designs, LLC, home of the Tiltster, the world's first tilting independent suspension kit for motorcycles. This innovative, one-of-a-kind engineering for your trike means a smoother, roomier, more comfortable ride while you explore the open road or just motor around town.

Kwik Trike Independent Suspension Trike Conversion Kits are tooled up for

  • 1984 and later Harley Davidson, Yamaha Roadstar, Roadliner and Stratoliner, or
  • 1988 and later Honda Valkyrie, Goldwing or VTX

Our suspension systems can be easily adapted to fit all belt or chain driven motorcycles as well.

If you'd rather leave the wrench-turning to someone else, KwikTrike's professional motor trike mechanics will build you a Custom Trike from the ground up, based on one of the models featured in our inventory. Each Trike we produce comes standard with the Independent Suspension; the Tiltster can be added as an option.

Pre-owned trikes are just as fun, and KwikTrike's leadership can also guide customers toward the best, extra-clean, very low mileage trikes with lots of extras.  Let us show you the trikes for sale by other happy trike owners; or, if you have a trike you'd like to sell, tell us about it and we'll try to help.

"How does a motor trike ride differently than a motorcycle?" We hear that question frequently. Besides the obvious difference of three wheels versus two wheels, here are a few more tips to help make your trike rides enjoyable:

  1. Although the motor trike controls are the same as a motorcycle's, a trike steers more like a car. Take the time to familiarize yourself with steering, evasive maneuvers, and entrance and exit ramps.

  2. Whereas a motorcycle requires more of a countersteer approach, a trike is easiest to steer by using a push-pull technique: When you want to turn left, pull the left grip toward you while pushing the right grip away from you. Similarly, for a right turn, pull the right grip toward you while pushing the left grip away from you. You'll get used to the long pushes to turn corners.

  3. A trike is much wider than a motorcycle, so allow for plenty of clearance when you're parking, or pulling up to a toll booth or gas pump.

  4. Finally, be careful not to put your foot down when you stop, or the rear wheel may run over it!
